Medication Management
PSR is designed to promote recovery, full community integration and improved quality of life for persons who have been diagnosed with any mental health condition that seriously impairs their ability to lead meaningful lives. This service focuses on interventions designed to help individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase their capacity to be successful and satisfied in the living, working, learning, and social environments of their choice.
We offer a complete range of behavioral health services to meet your needs. Family Institute provides services to youth with emotional/behavior disorders and to adults with chronic mental illness. Services are provided in the home and community based on the identified needs.  

Our services include:
CPST is designed to assist persons served with skill building, referral and linkage to community resources, collaboration with family members and/or service provider, and crisis management. The goal of CPST is to assist persons served to succeed in the community by identifying, accessing, and advocating for needed services. This service supports activities that assist clients in reducing the symptoms of mental illness, build resilience and improve their quality of life and integration into the community.
Family Institute has a psychiatrist on staff that provides medication management. This service focus on improvement and continued stabilization of individual's level of functioning and alleviation of biologically based psychiatric symptoms that interfere with functioning. Our psychiatrist works closely with the clients, the families, counselors, and anyone else that the person served would like to be involved in their care. We focus on providing our clients with more time and individualized care. Activities include:
  • Psychiatric diagnostic assessment 
  • A psychiatric, medical history and mental status examination, diagnosis on five axises, laboratory evaluations deemed appropriate and recommendations for treatment
  • Individualized medication evaluation and management
  • Prescription of appropriate medication(s) and review of therapeutic effects and side effects
